A Family Heritage
Chalcraft & Clay is a landscape and gardening company, founded by Phil Hanks, in 2014. Gardening is our passion, it is in our blood, with a family history of it dating back to 1841. It was Phil’s grandparents, Martin Clay and Elsie Chalcraft, who inspired the creation of Chalcraft & Clay. Together they represent a rich story of land & estate based working lives, much of which was in also in the Hampshire area.
But it is not only our legacy, but also a personal interest of ours. Here at Chalcraft & Clay, we have spent the majority of our working lives connected to the land & estates in some of the most beautiful parts of Hampshire.
